[SPOILERS] Annie Cresta: the mad girl from District 4. In her tribute year she witnessed her fellow male tribute beheaded which, upon her victory, lead to insanity. Her boyfriend, Finnick Odair, was made a prostitute with the leverage that President Show would murder Annie if he did not. Even though Annie’s personality was greatly affected by her year as tribute, being mad does not cancel out the strength that she had to show to continue on living with her memories, and with the constant thought of the love of your life being forced into prostitution. After the death of her Finnick, she continues to live on as he would have wanted her to do. For her hidden strength and devout loyalty, Annie Cresta is one of the most inspirational characters in The Hunger Games.
